Alongside the Harpeth River.
We’re still renovating our new house but things are steadily progressing. We should be able to move in two weeks time and we are all anxious to settle in. It’s amazing how much you take for granted having a dedicated and settled space to live in.
I’d forgotten those feelings that come with being displaced. Thankfully we are almost through this season. I have much to share but no time to edit my thoughts so I wanted to post a picture that Kierstin took of Eli & I at a local park.
We’re loving the pace of life out here. It’s quiet and our house has much more space. We’re looking forward to growing into it!
I’ve been demolitioning/renovating/envisioning/constructing etc for almost 5 weeks now and it all seems like one long day. It’s been a humbling experience. I am daily reminded that I am just a man. Sometimes my ambition eats me alive.
I’m glad tomorrow is Sunday. Looking forward to church, communion, rest and seeing friends.
Peace.
